As a groupo we all decided that using the e-learning centre would be more appropriate due to its size and the fact it had a black board (alike the one in the video). We began filming and thought that it would be easier to film all of the inside work first, this proved time effective as we completed the filming over 2 and a half lessons. There were not many complications throughout the time of filming other than the fact the first lesson the music had to be played out of a phone making it slightly harder for the characters to hear. This was later resolved when attatching the phone to the e-learning speaker system. This made things easier and clearer. The main problem i felt we faced was not having the video at hand to constantly refer to just incase a mistake had been made on the story board.
It wasnt until the second day of filming that things got a little more difficult......
members of the group forgot costumes and what not which ment a slight continuity error, and the big fact that one of the main characters decided to shave their heads over the weekend meaning refilminig was essential. This if course was not time consuming but the group knuckled down and got it shot.
All members of the group seemed to work well being lead by the 'Director' Aiden and the camera man/ woman Emily. I felt as though i was responsible to getting all the shots done and giving the details of the shot as we didnt have the immediate reference of the youtube video as i was reading the order and timings of the shots. This did result in a few shots not getting done or some being missed out. This did cause an issue later on when editing but nothing major.
When we ventured outside to film the outside dance sequence we had some members of the group that felt stupid dancing around. This called for me to call a friend and ask them if they would take part in the few shots, of course she did and helped the group out massively!!!! THANKS JO!!!!!!..... her role was to just dance around and have a close up shot taken. Other than the fact that myself and vic appeared in the back of a couple of shots this looked effective even though Mr Smiths encouragement was essential.
We decided to film the chorous 4 times once being sang individually by each member of the band ( Charlie, James, Matt) and then once singing it all together (as Busted) this seemed like the best most sensible option which I feel paid of when editing the music video.
